The Sovereign Drive
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to enquiries, quotations and chauffeur bookings provided by Mohamed Ahmed trading as The Sovereign Drive. They are designed to support clear customer communication, lawful pre-booked private hire operations and professional executive chauffeur standards.
Pre-Booked Private Hire Service
All journeys must be arranged in advance through an authorised booking channel. The Sovereign Drive does not accept street hails, taxi-rank work or unbooked roadside pickups. A journey is treated as requested only after sufficient booking details have been provided and recorded.
Booking Acceptance
Submitting a booking request does not automatically guarantee acceptance. A booking is confirmed only when The Sovereign Drive confirms availability, vehicle category, journey details and fare estimate or agreed fare. The business may decline or cancel a request where lawful, safe or compliant service cannot be provided.
Driver, Vehicle and Insurance Controls
Journeys will only be allocated to drivers and vehicles that The Sovereign Drive has taken reasonable steps to verify as suitable, licensed where required, and covered by appropriate hire and reward insurance for private hire work at the time of dispatch.
Fares, Estimates and Additional Charges
Fare estimates or agreed fares will be provided before travel where practicable. Final charges may vary where there are additional stops, waiting time, parking, airport charges, tolls, congestion or ULEZ charges, route changes, special requirements, cleaning or other costs reasonably connected with the journey.
Cancellation and No-Show Charges
Customers may cancel without charge where reasonable notice is provided more than 60 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, unless a separate written agreement applies. Where cancellation is made less than 60 minutes before pickup, The Sovereign Drive may charge £50 or the full fare, whichever is greater, where this has been communicated in advance and is reasonable in the circumstances. Airport no-shows or late cancellations may result in the full fare being charged, including reasonable waiting time, parking, meet-and-greet and other unavoidable costs incurred.
Airport and Flight Delays
Where flight details are provided, The Sovereign Drive may monitor flight information and manage arrival timing where reasonably possible. Airport parking, meet-and-greet and waiting time may be charged where applicable.
Passenger Conduct and Safety
Passengers must behave lawfully and respectfully. The Sovereign Drive may refuse or terminate a journey where there is abuse, threatening behaviour, unlawful conduct, safety risk, damage to the vehicle, safeguarding concern or serious breach of these terms.
Lost Property
Reasonable efforts will be made to recover and return items left in vehicles. Customers should report lost property as soon as possible with the booking reference, journey details and item description. Reasonable delivery, courier or postage costs may be payable by the passenger.
Accessibility and Assistance Dogs
Accessibility requirements should be provided at the time of booking so that suitable arrangements can be considered. Assistance dogs will be accommodated in accordance with applicable law unless a lawful medical exemption applies.
Liability
The Sovereign Drive will take reasonable care in providing services but is not responsible for delays or failures caused by traffic, road closures, weather, accidents, flight disruption, public events, vehicle breakdown, enforcement restrictions or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.
Data Protection
Customer and journey information will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. ICO registration reference: ZC143146.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
